Our weekend

Thursday we went to Gardner Village and walked around then ate at Archibald's Restaurant.  We ate tons of yummy food I felt like I gained 10 pounds! Not a good thing..Felicity would not wear and witches hat and that made me so sad since I want her to be a witch for Halloween!  We tried all kinds of hats there was one that was small on a little headband and just normal witches hat but no she wouldn't have it!

Since the 5th anniversary is the Wood Year We got table chairs to complete our kitchen table set. yay!Friday my mom watched Felicity so that we could go to the temple and do sealings!  We love doing doing sealings on our anniversary to remember the covenants and promises.

For Dinner we went to El Matador and had yummy Margaritas Don't worry they were non-alcholic's :) To finish the night we went to Footloose at the new Centerville movie theater since it was opening weekend Every employee was super super nice it was amazing!.

Saturday was Grandpa Paul 90th

The 4 generation line.. :)

5 years

On this day 5 years ago I married my best friend.  Russell is the best husband and father that I could have ever wished for and he makes me feel like a princess on a daily basis.  Even if he just brings home grocery's late at night without any complaint just because I was so tired or even maybe a little lazy to go myself or bringing home a little surprise every month!  He works so hard and REALLY LONG hours so that I can stay home with Felicity I really am so lucky for that. I love that when he comes home Felicity gets so excited and runs to the door saying dada!  I can hardly believe that it has been 5 years already it sure doesn't seem like it has been that long! Time really does fly when your with those you love and are having fun!  Felicity will be so lucky to grow up with him as a dad.
Here's to 5 years and eternity left!  I Love you Russ!

Felicity amazes me every single day at 17 months old she loves to use the computer so Russell found some toddler games on the internet and she loved it!

She has gotten so mischevious  one day even got into the flour it was all over the kitchen floor!!  I find toys in funny places like movies in kitchen drawers :)

 She loves to climb
She can do the actions to "5 little monkeys swinging in the tree"
She knows the colors purple and blue, she understands everything and added shoe, up, off, and papa
Loves to walk cody on his leash outside
She is a very picky eater but still loves yogurt and baby oatmeal She wants it almost every morning.
She gives the best hugs ever

Like Mother Like Daughter

When I was sixteen months old I got a staff infection in my lymph nodes in my neck and was hospitalized for eleven days and had surgery!  My dad's boss brought me Teddy (the awesome bear friend next to me).  I have loved that bear since; he has been a comfort to me in hard times.

Now that Felicity is sixteen months old, Teddy has become Felicity's buddy!  She found him in my bedroom and they have pretty much been inseparable ever since.  It warms my heart.

I HATE DRIVING

Friday afternoon, I drove up to North Murray Pizza Hut to drop off a uniform for a new employee for Russell.  I picked up Subway for lunch then headed home to eat and get Felicity down for a nap.  Little did I know that on my way home I would be in a car accident!

I was driving home on Gordon Lane coming up to the turn on to 300 E.  I slowed to make a right turn, but as I began the turn, my car continued straight.  I went right through the intersection, up onto the curb, hit the stop sign, and bumped a teenage boy!  I swear I was being safe, but that didn't matter. Two police cars, a fire engine, and an ambulance all came; I couldn't believe all that happened!  I was really embarrassed and scared! More and more kids kept gathering since I was on their way home from school.  Russell was down in Sandy - 20 minutes away.  Luckily, he was able to get away and come to me.  I was really shaken up.  I still feel a bit shaken.

The EMTs checked out Austin and said that he was fine.  In the end, he might have a couple bruises.  Russell says I gave him more street credit with his friends because they think he is a hero and he has quite the story to tell.

We had my car towed to Russell's brother, Robert.  The mechanics found that the fuel pump had died.  When the fuel pump died, it cut the assistance to the power steering and also the power brakes.  I had tried to turn and even to stop, but without the extra help that my car usually gives me, I continued mostly forward and up onto the curb.  I am feeling a little bit cursed.  I wonder why this seems to happen to me?

We were very lucky.  The car needs some repairs, but I am safe, Felicity is safe, and Austin is alive.  Russell was able to get coverage for Friday evening - thanks Heather, Sam, Thomas, and Trent - and stayed home with me.
