I Hate Talking in Church!!

Wow~I am so nervous I hate being the center of attention and being in front of lots of people... Russell and I are speaking in sacrament meeting on sunday our topic is on preparing for the new year, it is also our turn to teach in nursery.. Yes we got put back in the nursery in this ward! I really miss our old nursery :( there are several things I would change if I new how to go about doing and all that...I am not so nervous about teaching the lesson I am used to doing that, but giving a talk scares me to death!!

Russell and I went to the SLC Temple last night it was amazing we had not gone for awhile with him being so busy lately running two stores, but only we thought we had enough time but we were wrong it took longer then we thought and we missed our tithing settlement appointment we felt really bad, but atleast we were doing a good thing and not just missing the appointment.. right...

well I guess I better stop postponing my writing my talk and lesson and just do it..

Body Worlds 3 And The Story Of The Heart

Last night my parents, Russell and I went to dinner and charlie chows and then went to Body worlds! I loved it I thought it was amazing..I loved seeing all the muscles that I spent so much time studing in school there and how they all fit together. The body is such an amazing thing!! Although I will admit it has been acouple of months so it showed me I was a little rusty on the smaller longer names of muscles..

After my parents came to my house to watch the Jazz game and have hot chocolate. I love that our house is finally big enough to have visitors come hangout!

From Midway With Love

No, we didn't make a James Bond movie in Midway, Utah, but we did have a wonderful trip for our two-year anniversary. We stayed at the Homestead Resort, a very rustic and quiet hotel on the northwest side of Midway. The resort is also home to the Homestead Crater. We went to the crater for about an hour on the night we got there. Honestly, from the description and the photos, we were expecting a more impressive sight than the crater offered, but we still enjoyed the water from the hot springs.

We had dinner from Fanny's Grill, and they delivered it to our room for us! It wasn't the greatest food ever, but oh well.

On Wednesday, we got to go horseback riding! I was so excited. The only sad thing is that we had to wait until the late afternoon before our reservation. It worked out alright for us because we had trouble finding the stables. We spent lots of time exploring Midway and Heber, and we found something quite special: Grandpa Tom's name on the Memorial Hill WWII plaque! How neat is that! When we find our camera cord, we will post the pictures of the hill and the rest of the trip too.

Horseback riding was so much fun. My horse was named Kimmie and Russ was on Chubbs. Chubbs ate a lot. We rode for about an hour and it was so pretty. Our guide was Jess and we had so much fun that we already want to plan another trip and go for a longer ride, and ask for Jess to be our guide again. Russ looks funny on a horse, because he has only been riding maybe once or twice in his whole life. He did okay, and I love that he thought of going riding for our anniversary.

Hurray for us!

On Friday and Saturday, we were able to move almost all of our stuff into our new condo. Ya us!

Russ and his family did most of the moving because I was stuck at work :( We have three bedrooms and two full baths! I love my bathtubs!

My Mommy and Daddy came and saw it yesterday, as did my best friend, Sam. Maura came by later and stayed over and went to Church with us.

We love the place and it feels SO big compared to our old apartment.

I went and let Maura practice on my hair, I needed a change!! She put in weave high lights of lighter brown color and a red color. It was her first time and she did a really good job!! It took a long time, but it was good for Maura I think to get in all the practice( not that I think she needed it) She did a really good job!! I think it looks really natural that if you didn't know that I did anything to my hair you wouldn't even know we probably should have gone a little thickier on the colors but I like it.. Thankyou Maura!!

I HATE BEING SICK!!

For like the past week I have been sick having nose and throat issues!! Russ has been at work alot this week, I called my parents to ask them a question on Wednesday and that is when I realized I had almost no voice and it scared my dad a little thinking I was crying that something really bad had happened. I was fine at work a couple hours before that!! I tried drinking lemon juice and honey that didn't work, I tried drinking my herbal tea drink that didn't help either. The next couple of days sucked not being able to talk at work, but my co-workers seemed enjoying laughing at my silly sounding voice.. Friday night I began COUGHING !! I'm thinking I may have bronchitis:( it sucks!!
My cute husband went to the store before he went to the priesthood session and bought some meds. and an elmo and friends humidifer hoping to help me feel better!
Tonight was supposed to be super busy at work and I couldn't go.. well I guess i could have they needed me but I really don't want to get anyone sick with what I have cause it sucks!! :(

We put an offer on a CONDO :)

Today we put an offer on a condo! We are really excited to move out of our teny tiny basement apartment we have lived here for almost excatly two years now and we really just don't fit here anymore and we are so ready for a bigger place. The condo is at about 2nd E and 40th N in Salt Lake City!.. This condo is will have 3bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, living room, kitchen, laundry room, balcony and a swimming pool. The master bedroom is connected to a big walk-in closet and a bathroom! The sellers have till wed. at 6:00pm to respond so then we will go from there... I'll let you all know...

Russ gave me a Magic Bullet, some games for my laptop, and the best.. "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" TICKETS that will be in concert here in sept.23!! I'm so excited!! ...also a little update on us.. Russ and I are taking a ballroom dance class at SLCC on Monday and Wednesday mornings and its pretty fun even though we like NEVER even get to dance with each other!! On Thursday nights Myndee, Marijo and I are taking a tap class in Farmington. I really love dancing again it has been so long! I didnt really realize how much I missed dancing!!
