Winter wonderland

Could Felicity's attitude problem be caused from the snow?? The weather went from being 72 to 30 degrees and a lot of snow within the last few days and my little angel perfect child has changed. Seriously she has become like a whole different girl! These tantrums are driving me nuts because it is like everything I ask or say is the wrong thing and she just gets mad, screams, and cries! Oh the screaming! I have reached my breaking point I can't take it! She refuses her baths at night you probably think big deal right well if you know her then you know that something has happened because she is usually begging for her bath! Missing her bath was the most horrible thing ever!!
Last year we didn't get much snow and everything we did get it didn't stick more then a day so Felicity really hasn't gotten to experience it before and she HATES it! when it first started so intrigued she liked to look our the window and watch it but then when it never ended it wasn't as cool anymore she Hates it! In this one storm we got more snow then got all winter last year! She doesn't do we'll with change so I wonder if that could be part if her total personality change! I basically had to drag her outside and into the car to go to Abi and Bella's birthday party. She just wanted stay home!! Oh I was so frustrated it was the first time I realized I fit into regular jeans I was super excited so we HAD to get out if the house. I knew if we went to the party I would be able to have break from her whining! I was right she loves aunt Dee Dee so right away she had to have her full attention! I could just not win because when it all over and everyone was gone she didn't want to come home!! Getting ready for church today was miserable I had almost had it was thinking about not even going because it was a fight the whole time many tears were shed because with her screaming Detroit thought he needed to be in in the action an got upset himself!! Two screaming kids while trying to get out the door I was about ready to pull my hair out! But we some how managed to make it there because because I need to feel like I actually have friends to talk to. Our ward is so transient that people are moving in and out every week! I hate it most because no one stays long so it's hard to make friends because no one stays long.. Well that's enough rambling for tonight.
Goodnight!

Princesses

My nieces Abi and Bella turned 4 years so they had a princess birthday party. My sister did a wonderful job making sure their party was special. Every kid invited came in their favorite princess dress, they made necklaces, and played princess games. Then the princesses Bell and Rupunzle showed up to teach them how to be a princess and give them their own princess crown. It was the cutest thing ever! I really wish that I was creative and crafty.

Oct 14 2012

October 14 was a very special day around here for us for two reasons. First, six years ago I made the best decision I have ever made, I married my best friend. Russell is the best husband and father I could have ever wished for. He is very busy with work, teaching a math class at a school called Youth Village Academy, and also taking an online class for SLCC. I hate going to the grocery store so he will go even after a long day at work with no complaint just because I didn't want to leave the house. Russell is amazing! I love him with all my heart! :)

The second thing why this October day is special because we blessed Detroit (Thomas Detroit). I feel so blessed to have this little guy in our lives. After sacrament meeting all our family went to my parents house for soup and salad. I was a really bad picture taker though so I don't have a family picture!! He is very patient with me and his sometimes very demanding sister who usually decides she needs something while I'm feeding him. Detroit is growing way too fast I would just like to stop time and keep him this little for a little longer. At just three months old he is too big for his basinet so I will be moving him to the pack and play soon so he can stay in our room for easier middle of night feedings!

3 months

Can he really be three months old? Three months later and it's hard for me to believe that I'm a mother of two.

I was so nervous to have a boy I was sure hoping for another girl, I new how to take care of a girl I already had very for a girl clothes oh so many clothes and with a boy I felt like I was starting all over again! Felicity was such an easy baby that how good I possibly handle it I was so sure I was going to have such a hard baby but I was blessed with a just as easy a baby.

At three months old Detroit is a great sleeper only waking up to eat once or twice to eat. During tummy time he still doesn't mind it and just falls asleep. He loves to be talked to to he is also becoming quite vocal!

iPhone up app.

I'm so excited that I now update my blog from my from phone while holding Detroit. Now maybe I will actually get the time to blog!

First of all why is potty training so hard? Just when I think she is getting so good and we are making progress like no accidents at all last week to
falling backward to then this week we have no successes!! I know that she is still little but still it is a pain.

Felicity is super smart and is surprising me with new phrases and really big words everyday. Her favorite movie is Snow White she walks around the house saying Hi Ho Hi Ho and my name is usually Snow White. When she is upset throwing a fit and I tell her to stop being grumpy she will then say "no doppy Troy grumpy" haha silly girl

Detroit is very easy going boy. He is growing super fast I sometimes I forget he is only 3 months old because he seems and looks so much older because at three moths he is in size 2 diapers and wearing 3-6 months clothing not surprising right but when he is wearing 6-9 month in some cloths and they fit fine!!! Crazy right..
Now it is time get some sleep before Detroit wakes up again.

Our Summer... catching up

HAND DOWN COUCH

This couch was my Grandma Moulton's couch that Myndee had then Marci had it.  We decided with Detroit joining our family that we needed one. Now as it then turns out Myndee just had this in storage so we decided it was our turn to have them.We actually have two, one is in the living room and other as you can see we put in the playroom.  The couch's are obviously very old but it is better then nothing and they work and are comfy.

JULY 4TH

Russell was working of course so after eating a quick bite at our ward breakfast and dropping Russell off at work felicity and I headed up north to watch the Kaysville parade.  I love Kaysville but with a month left before Detroit was going to be here I was miserable in the heat the parades are just not exciting to me as they used to be.  What happened to all the cool floats people used to do?? People have gotten lazy "lets just get in our truck and throw candy!!"SERIOUSLY!!  I was glad that my sisters were also there to help Felicity so that she could be right up in the action with her cousins.  After so fun partying with the fam Felicity and I  hurried home so that we could have a tiny bit of holiday with him to watch some fireworks which I happen think is the best part of  Indepenece day but the crowds and the horrible car lines after not so fun so we just went and sat on the grass at Chevrolet.  I worked great we sat there just as a little family watching the Murray park show no loud booms to scare felicity and no lines getting home it was so fast.

CHERRY HILL
I had not been to Cherry Hill since high school but now I'd like to try to go next year. Myndee had some extra passes so she took us girls for a few hours.  Felicity loved the slide she must have gone down a dozen times with Myndee while I sat in the lazy river. OH how I loved the lazy river.  Felicity wore herself out and fell asleep warming up wrapped in our towels.  What fun day!!

ZOO

I Love the Zoo!  We got to the Llamas right as the keeper was feeding them so she let us feed them some lettuce!  Felicity was so brave I was amazed when she feed them all by herself!  The polar bear was really active playing in the water. So CUTE!

 DINOSOUR MUSEUM

hum what to say about it..  I was really impressed it was actually pretty cool.  Felicity was pretty funny when we got to the part where you can actually dig in the sand for bones because this little girl who hates being durty was not sure what to think of the sand andwould not hold the brush and dig but eventually gave in

 TRACY AVAIRY

NOSE

Here Felicity was doing a trick for Grandma Beth and pushed to hard with her feet and went right her head and scrached her nose in the cement!  POOR GIRL..

THE PLANETIUM

Wow I'm so far behind but here is some other things that I still plan to catch up on..
More to come:
